In line with the introduction of infant care services at our Piccadilly campus and to meet statutory requirements, Chatsworth Kindergarten has been officially renamed as Chatsworth Preschool with immediate effect. The two current kindergartens campuses will therefore be referred to as Chatsworth Preschool Piccadilly and Chatsworth Preschool Bedok.
To cater to working parents with childcare needs, Chatsworth Preschool is extending our Playgroup programme (for children aged 18 to 36 months) to a full day programme, 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and half day on Saturday. Half day option is available for parents who do not require the full day service.
The Playgroup will stay in its current classroom on Level 2 of 1A Edgware Road. The teacher children ratio will be 1 teacher : 4 or 5 children.
Daily school bus transportation for children residing in Pasir Ris and Tampines to Chatsworth Preschool (Piccadilly) is available from 2018 onwards. The school has appointed Capital Transport Services to provide school bus transport for children at Piccadilly campus. The bus transport provider has been providing school bus services to preschools, international schools and local primary schools and we believe that they can meet the expectations of Chatsworth and the parent community.
For school bus enquiries, please contact Capital Transport Services at 90038627.
People of all ages can enjoy gardening, but children in particular will have lots of fun in the garden, in addition to reaping educational benefits and enrichment from the sensorial experience. On 11 January 2018, we had the opportunity to share our knowledge and resources with the rest of the community as we welcomed Mediacorp into our premises.
To meet the diverse needs of working parents and to keep your children meaningfully engaged under the care and guidance of our dedicated teachers, Chatsworth Preschool has secured approval from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) to be a preschool centre. Chatsworth Bedok Campus will continue to offer a strong holistic curriculum for children aged 2 to 6 years for a half day or full day programme.
The Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARK) was introduced to recognise preschools for their continued efforts, in providing quality education, through SPARK assessment and certification. The criteria in which preschools are largely assessed in are leadership, planning and administration, staff management, resources, curriculum and pedagogy.
We strive to be a leading early childhood institution, using innovation to enhance pedagogical practices aiming towards holistic curriculum that inspire, educate and enlighten young minds.
